iNewtrition was founded in 2018 and offers consultancy, mentoring and training, specialising in food product development, innovation and technology transfer. We are a global inter-disciplinary team of passionate consultants with one mission: to help you create the best possible product for your needs.
We’re a global company with a presence in the USA, UK, Australia, China, Japan, India and Europe. So whether you want to create a brand new product from scratch or simply need help with an existing one, just leave us a message and we will be happy to help you!
Global challenges need urgent solutions, and that is why iNewtrition was created:
- to help collaboration and accelerate innovation using design thinking tools
- to tackle global challenges from climate change and sustainable energy to healthy living and raw materials dependency. We help deliver on sustainable development goals and each project is dedicated to one of these topics.
- to change the innovation culture in the food industry. We help innovators turn their best ideas into reality. With an open-innovation mindset, we foster growth and new careers opportunities for food professionals to improve the lives of citizens across the world.
At iNewtrition, we value client relationships as much as we value quality development work. Having procedures in place to elevate responsiveness is an important part of the way we do business.
Balancing our response time with other work we are required to do throughout the day is part of our system.
Simply put, an innovation consultant will help you grow your business and bottom line. We will help you think differently and more creatively so you can keep up with an evolving market and remain competitive. We can bring a wealth of experience and expertise to your project, giving you a solid foundation on which to build. They’ll research the market and capture relevant data—and together you’ll identify and explore potential opportunities, then develop a strategy for successful deployment.
Your existing organisational processes are effectively tailored to your existing business scope. Though efficient in this sense, they can make it difficult to nurture new ideas. An independent innovation consultant can help increase resources on an ad-hoc basis, develop new processes that work within your existing framework, yet allow for greater collaboration and iteration around new opportunities.
It’s rare that a company has all the in-house talent to support end-to-end innovation initiatives. A freelance innovation consultant offers the additional benefit of providing an experienced, objective third-party perspective. The value of this contribution is not to be overlooked, especially when exploring new markets or pivoting your business model.
- Targeted, practical strategic advice
- A cost-effective external perspective
- Detailed evaluations of potential markets, competitive dynamics and major trends
We have a flexible pricing structure to suit your needs, your team and your budget. Pricing is project dependent to find the most cost-effective way to support you. Email us today or book afree call to get a quote.

Absolutely. We can help you finding the perfect co-packer and help with trials and first production. We can adjust, improve, optimise and industrialise recipes.
There are many types of strategic consulting, but innovation / research and development (R&D) consulting focuses primarily on the strategic development of new products and services. The goal is growth, and by developing the appropriate talent, culture and processes, the right consultant can help make innovation a sustainable and repeatable part of the business.
Food scientists work in the food industry to help ensure that the food we eat is safe and of high quality. They may work in research and development, quality control, or manufacturing. Food scientists use their knowledge of chemistry, biology, and physics to study food and figure out ways to improve it. For example, food scientists may develop new ways to process or package food to keep it fresh longer. Food scientists may also be involved in developing new food products or improving existing ones.

Product development is a process that can be long and arduous, but it doesn’t have to be. By enlisting the help of a professional product development consultant, you can streamline the process and get your product to market faster. In most cases, we can break down the product development process into four main steps: initial consultation, exploration phase, implementation, and launch.
At iNewtrition, all future projects start with a “Project Discovery Call”. This initial consultation is designed to help us understand your needs and objectives and the unique challenges you’re facing. It’s also an opportunity to learn more about your business, your products, and your target market. This information helps us determine whether we’re a good fit for each other and whether we can provide you with the services you need. The initial consultation will also determine who and what expertise you need for the next phase of your project. We don’t charge for this initial consultation, which will be carried out via video call, lasting approximately 30 minutes.
After the initial consultation, we’ll enter into the exploration phase with specific expertise from our team. This phase is designed to help us gain a deeper understanding of your needs and objectives and the unique challenges you’re facing. We’ll also start to explore potential solutions and develop a plan for how we can best help you achieve your goals. This phase is chargeable and usually lasts between two and four weeks, depending on the complexity. Every product development project is like a journey; the exploration phase is where we start mapping out the route. The next step is to agree on the journey (or project plan) with you, which will determine your project’s cost, timeline, and deliverables. Typically, we would be looking for a firm commitment to a monthly budget at this stage.
Once we’ve agreed on the project plan, it’s time to start moving the wheels and working towards your goals; this is where we’ll put our agreed-upon solutions into place and help you bring your product to market. The implementation phase can last anywhere from a few weeks to several years, depending on the size and scope of your project.
We’re confident that you’ll be happy with the result of your project. But we also recognise that things don’t always go to plan. So if you’re not delighted with the end product, we’ll work with you to make it right. Whether making changes to the design or starting again from scratch, we’ll do whatever it takes to ensure you’re happy with the result.
Bear in mind that innovation and R&D projects can be unpredictable. There may be times when we have to change course to achieve the best possible results. However, we’ll always keep you updated on our progress and involve you in decision-making. That way, you can ensure that the end product will meet your specific needs and requirements.
The answer to this question depends on your product’s complexity and your team’s size. A simple product might take a few weeks to develop, while a more complex one could take months or even years. And, of course, the larger your team, the faster the process will typically be.
After we’ve done all the hard work, celebrate! We’ll help you launch your product successfully and ensure it reaches your target market. We’ll also provide you with ongoing support and advice to ensure that your product continues to be a success long after we’ve handed it over.
Design thinking is a problem-solving approach used at iNewtrition that involves empathy for the user, creative ideation, and experimentation to create innovative solutions. It is often used in the design of products, services, and experiences. The goal of design thinking is to understand the user’s needs and come up with solutions that are both innovative and practical.
Some of the benefits of design thinking include:
Encourages creativity and out-of-the-box thinking: Design thinking encourages the team to generate a wide range of ideas and solutions, rather than immediately evaluating and discarding them. This can lead to more creative and innovative solutions.

Design thinking can be a useful tool for product development, as it helps teams to understand the user’s needs and create innovative and effective solutions. Here are some ways that design thinking can help with product development.
The role of prototyping in design thinking is to help teams to quickly and efficiently evaluate and refine their ideas. By creating a prototype, teams can test their assumptions and see how the solution would work in practice. This allows them to identify any issues or challenges with the solution, and make adjustments as needed.
